Japan, Germany, Asean: Confirel’s products go around the world

Cambodia’s Private Shopping all in Atsugi city, in Kanagawa province, Japan, was recently officially opened in the presence of Pan Sorasak, cambodian minister of Commerce. Confirel products are featured prominently in the mall’s offerings. This inauguration was attended by many high-level personalities: Taro Kono, MP, former Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Akira Amari, Imamura Masahiro, MP and President of the Cambodia-Japan Parliamentary Alliance, Mikami Masahiro, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia, Masahiro Hirabayashi, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Japan Center (AJC), as well as members of Congress, provincial assembly, ambassadors, district governors and representatives of the chamber of commerce, business associations and enterprises.

The center is intended to be a gateway to introduce Cambodia, its products and business opportunities and regulations to Japanese investors and the general public.

Confirel, whose products are already well known and appreciated in Japan – its organic sugar Thnot was awarded in 2017 as one of the 100 best products in Asia by the magazine Kingdom Cuisine – is naturally delighted to work by the quality of its products to bring better know the potential of Cambodia in Japan.

In addition, from July 26 to 29, Confirel had the opportunity to participate in BioFach 2022, a major trade fair for organic food at Nuremberg, the second largest city in Germany. More than 3200 exhibiting companies and more than 51,000 participants – trade visitors, decision makers, etc. – participated in this event, one of the most important in Europe in this field. Confirel presented its innovative products, in particular the Jaya range with its two new products, Jaya Blue and Jaya Extra, the Kirum condiments and the Thnot mango rolls, all exclusive products of the company.

Finally, Confirel was one of the 27 Cambodian companies to have the honor of participating in an exhibition at the 55th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related meetings, which was held July 31 to August 6 at the Sokha Hotel in Phnom Penh. At this event, Confirel offered a free tasting of its flagship products.
